Sense of Community, Diversity, Charming Architecture, Affordability, Walkability, Friendly neighborhood.
Our friend/fellow millennial/Fresno High homeowner Rachel Klippenstein explains why perfectly: “Living the Fresno High neighborhood has been wonderful and has met my needs as a homeowner. I love that there are so many amenities within walking distance, the convenience of the freeway for my daily commute to work, and the strong sense of community. This community is extremely active and you can meet neighbors taking an evening stroll down Van Ness to enjoy a cup of coffee at Kuppa Joy, live music and great food at gazebo gardens, or walk through Fresno City College campus. The neighborhood has strong roots. Many of the residents have been there for 15 plus years, and this has created just a wonderful and friendly atmosphere.
I also love that the neighborhood has such diversity in home designs and price points. The homes in this neighborhood range from small bungalows to much larger homes and styles from small cottages, Tudors, Spanish styled homes, and more formal and grand homes as well. This variety of designs creating a neighborhood that is a wonderful blend of backgrounds from first time home buyers and young families, to more established families that have found their forever home. The wonderful and unique feature of this community is that whatever your price point, you can find a home within your budget, and not very many neighborhoods have that accessibility, especially in one so established.I cannot say enough good things about this neighborhood, if you are looking for a home I strongly recommend not just driving past, but take a walk through to get a sense of the community to see if this may be a great place for your family.”
